“I have been using Express Therapy since I was involved in a serious road traffic collision. Amongst many injuries I sustained, was a serious injury to my knee which involved a full rupture of the MCL and ACL, partial tear to my PCL and a meniscal tear. I was lucky enough to be referred to Express Therapy for treatment before and after surgery. I must say the care and treatment I have received is second to none.
I currently require ongoing physiotherapy input to help alleviate pain I suffer as a result of post-traumatic arthritis. I also have a specific physiotherapy programme which Mike has developed which helps to provide some valuable pain relief, and allows me to maintain my knee in as stable a condition as possible.
I simply cannot sing highly enough my praises for Express Therapy, they have made the world of difference to my life. Mike is a very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and honest physiotherapist and I simply wouldn't put my health in anyone else's care. I would, and indeed have recommended Express Therapy to family and friends”
“Having needed treatment for my back and following a broken arm, I have no reservations in recommending Mike. He always listens to my needs and his physio programmes are first class. I found Mike both friendly and approachable in his course of treatments”
“I recently had reconstructive ankle surgery following a football injury. After onwards referral by Michael for scans and a specialist Orthopaedic opinion, Mikes diagnosis was confirmed. I have now returned to competitive play (semi-pro) following 3 x per week post-op rehabilitation under Mike's supervision; I returned sooner than expected. I'd like to thank Mike for his professional guidance.”
“Having a complicated medical history, it was important to me that I used a physiotherapist with the knowledge to treat me safely. I have used both the physiotherapy and sports massage services at Express Therapy over the years; with great success in the treatment of tennis elbow and back/neck pain. I will continue to use Express Therapy in the future.”
“I consulted Express Therapy as I was suffering with pains in the left hand side of my neck and shoulder, causing me problems with sleeping, despite taking pain killers and using gel supplied by my doctor. After an initial assessment and several physiotherapy sessions involving massage, stretching and exercise I am delighted to say the problem has greatly improved thanks to the excellent and professional work done by Michael Chuck.”
“I was treated by Michael Chuck after being involved in a road accident; he was helpful and understanding and treated me with respect. I have Trochanteric Bursitis so I also saw Michael privately, he was very helpful and put me on the road to a life I could cope with. Thank you.”
“I first saw Mike at the end of 2013 with a long-standing Achilles tendon problem which had been stopping me from running frequently, as I would be unable to walk for a couple of days after each race. Mike went through my health history and assessed the way I stood and ran and diagnosed it as a bio-mechanical issue with my ankles rolling inwards. He prescribed inserts for my trainers and performed electrotherapy and massage over the next few weeks to reduce the inflammation and it has worked a treat. I have now entered the London Marathon and clocked up over a 100 miles in the last month in training without the pain, which was such a common result of pushing myself before meeting Mike. I cannot recommend him highly enough and will pass his details onto family and friends.”
“In January 2013, I sustained an ankle injury whilst playing football for Gainsborough Trinity Football Club. I was immediately cared for by Michael Chuck who administered the necessary post-injury protocol. Through regular physiotherapy contact sessions, Michael was able to make the calculated diagnosis that I may have sustained an ankle syndesmosis injury. By contacting a wide range of professional experts, Michael arranged an appointment for me with an ankle specialist who treats elite athletes, including premiership footballers.
Due to the extent of my injury, the specialist performed an operation to surgically repair the damaged ligaments under the premise that Michael would be in charge of my rehabilitation. Following surgery, I received regular treatment by Michael, and he also prescribed a detailed rehabilitation programme to aid my recovery. It is through this regular treatment and expert advice that I have managed to make a full recovery, weeks ahead of schedule. I am now back to playing competitive football with no injury concerns. ”
To Michael Chuck
I would like to thank you for your excellent physiotherapy, before and after my Marathons. Without your physiotherapy I would not have been able to complete all my marathons over the past few years, and I wouldn’t have been able to raise all the money I have for my charities, which include Diabetes UK, Sense (Deafblind children), and local sick children supported by Grimsby Telegraph
